Wow wow wow wow! Def Leppard absolutely killed it with an impeccable show! We sat 6 rows from the front in this large stadium and the sound was amazingly crisp! Joe and the boys played their hearts out for over an hour and a half, giving us their new single “Just Like 73” as well as deep cuts such as Comin’ Under Fire (Third Time Ever Played), Die Hard The Hunter, Rock! Rock!, Too Late For Love, And plenty/most songs on Pyromania to celebrate the 40th anniversary! And of course all of the hits were played as well as a fun acoustic set in the middle! What a show!

Def Leppard did not disappoint! They came out with high, positive energy and kept it going through the entirety of the show. They worked the catwalks and performed on the stage, the catwalks and at the end of the catwalk giving everyone in attendance attention. They sounded like the seasoned professionals they are. Soooo enjoyed their performance and can’t wait till the next time! ….and there will be a next time!!! 🙌🏼

This concert was spectacular. I am a former music executive as well as a musician and performer. I was quite surprised at the overall production……it was absolutely flawless. The acts performed on time…., the sound mixing was quite impressive for an outdoor arena show, and each act played hit after hit. Steve Miller was and is amazing at 80 frigging years old. His sound was tight and he can still hit the highs….Then Neal Shon and Journey took the stage and while Arnel sounded strong there was no need to miss Steve Perry……Arnel, although a bit prancing about and often screaming at the sky, was able to reinvent the chemistry needed for a well delivered set that seduced the ears with memorable power ballads. Then came Def Leopard who brought the house down with unbelievable precision. Crisp production and mistake free delivery brought 10’s of thousands to their feet repeatedly…..playing 40 year old hits like they were just born……. An absolutely fantastic show that proved veteran performers can still deliver….one glorious hit at a time.

Steve Miller was verybgood. You would never guess he was 80 years old! Journey was too loud, and indecipherable. Songs were half way done before I could even figure out what song they were playing. Def Leppard was great. The set list was good but I could have done without Two Steps Behind and what someone listed as Switch 625. I'd never heard either one before. As for Comerica Park as a concert venue, the concourse was over crowded and there are not enough bathrooms. We were in section 133 and the sight lines were obstructed by makeshift speaker poles (overkill not needed)

The show was absolutely amazing! Nobody rocks like Def Leppard. Journey and Cheap Trick put on great shows as well. Def Leppard was really up close and personal with their fans. If you went to the Stadium Tour like I did last year, you did not see this. It is a completely different show. I don't want to say anymore, because I love surprises (wouldn't look at the setlist) and don't want to spoil it for anyone else. It was so worth it! No one left disappointed:).

My wife and myself attended Def Leppard show at Buffalo Chip and had a blast. The only downside would have been the cost of food but that is a problem in our grocery stores these days, and I don't believe a mark against the site I r even the vendors. We loved the show ,they were one of a very few bands from that Era that I had not seen ,and I was happy to have been there for what may be the last opportunity to see them they didn't disappoint. I also did a live Facebook to friends and family, and like us they loved the stunt on the wire. Overall scale of 10 being the best and Pop Evil surprising me on their performance, I would say a 9 ,across the board.

The show itself was great. This is the 3rd time I've seen Def Leppard (no clue why only the 3rd, but it is), and they've always been top notch. But I only gave it 4 stars because the stage design was lousy. The stage was roughly 3 parts. The center was recessed, so that anyone on the first few sections on the sides couldn't see it at all. There were "wings" off each side where the band did come, which was appreciated. But I like to watch the whole band and couldn't see Rick Allen at all. In addition, while I didn't watch the screens much, when I did glance over it was frequently annoying. Whomever was in charge of that kept flipping the image so it was reversed. I have no clue why that was. So the show was great, but the logistics could have used a lot of work.

We had an awesome time. This was my 4th time seeing Def Leppard live and they still put on a great show and sound as amazing as they did 15 years ago the last time I saw them. It was our 1st time seeing Motley Crew and they tore the house down. Alice Cooper's special guest appearance was also a great treat, would love to finally see a full Alice Cooper show in the future. If you are wanting to see any of the 3 bands I will tell you it will be well worth it and an awesome time.

Def Leppard was amazing!! They played their greatest hits but also some from their new album. The crowd was into it as well, mostly us 50+ something’s out there remembering the great 80’s of our youthful days. The show was at least an hour and a half as they came in after Joan Jett (who always puts on a great show) and Poison (good show). The sound level and bass were perfect as well unlike Motley Crue who seemingly cranked up their bass to drown out Vince Neil’s failing voice. (Vince Neil sounded like Sam Kinison)……. But back to the Def Leppard show. Lasers and lights and amazing sounds and the guitars and drums were better than ever. And, their voices were very good considering how long they have been at it. Def Leppard was definitely the highlight of the show and they should have been the headliner.

Absolutely great performance! The guys sounded amazing! I took a half star off though because they went last and the reality of 4 hall of fame acts in one night is so freaking intense and, ultimately, exhausting. The audience was a tad tired by the time they went on and the band started with 2 new songs which affected the crowd energy. They should have started with some classics and progressed to the new stuff once they had the audience energy back up. Other than that, it was a great show!!

Def Leppard was absolutely amazing!!! They never disappoint their fans; especially live in concert. The truly care about their fans, family, friends and most importantly theirselves and all members of the band. They continue to keep theirselves healthy and fit so they can put on a show for their fans. Their performance on 8/12/2022 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA, had the entire stadium up on their feet, singing, dancing and having a fantastic time!!!! Thank you for the many, many wonderful memories and the excitement and fun through Def Leppard"s set!!!!

I was sitting 9th row centre floors where Def Leppard had perfect sound and you could hear every artist in the mix. (read what I said about the bad sound from Motley Crue's soundman.... as I felt he should be fired) I've been a sound and lighting tech for 40yrs. And talk about way too much kick drum and bass guitar in the Crue's mix The guys that did Joan Jett, Poison and Def Leppard's FOH sound were superb. (sorry, missed the band Classic Act as I was doing a meet n greet for Poison) So didn't hear their sound mix. Also, the lighting was amazing... for ALL the bands. Was nice to see lasers for Def Leppard/Crue and a moving truss during the Crue's set. Still to this day... the BEST lighting show in the world needs to go to TSO. Too bad they only tour at Christmas.

Def Leppard STILL HAS IT!!!!!!! They were amazing and put on a stunning show. Definitely worth sitting thru the heat all day - they were so good! Hadn't seen them in 30 years, and now can't figure out why I stopped seeing them. Will fix that! Joan Jett was also great - so good to see her after all these years. She gave a great performance. My 5 star review is based on DL and JJ.

Finally at last! 2 years delayed! Poison boys stole the show, full of energy, gracious - seemed like they were happy to be there. Crue up next, massive smoke shows, what you hear is true, there Bass is turned up a little to loud, Vince does mess up the words from time to time, but he looked and sounded good. Def Lep final act, looked good, sounded good, light shows awesome! Go with an empty bladder, and full wallet, long restroom lines, and expensive concessions….

We missed Joan Jett. Arrived too late. But caught most of Poison and all of Motley Crüe and Def Leppard. Poison was okay - Brett Michaels was all energy but I feel his voice isn't what it used to be. But his energy and crowd engagement made up for it. I've never really listened to Motley Crüe but I enjoyed their performance! Possibly a new fan...? And Def Leppard, of course, they were excellent. Voices still 100% spot on.

“With a break from the heat but not from the music (a pleasant 80° post 17 days of 90+ heat), the Stadium Tour finally rolled into Charlotte for a Tuesday show. Finally sums it up well as tickets for the 36 city tour originally went on sale in December of 2019! It was my first time seeing Def Leppard (despite many opportunities) and also Crue so I was super-excited. I had seen Jett in Spring of ’89 and Poison in 2017 when I showed up for Cheap Trick (the first half of a double-bill), and left a believer in Poison! The order of the 7 hour day was Joan Jett then Poison who were billed as ‘special guests’, next were Motley Crue and Def Leppard on the alternation swapping their order out every other show as ‘co-headliners’. Of note there was also an opening band ‘Classless Act’ coming in with perfect timing for their debut album just days earlier. An estimate of the age of the majority of attendees was 50 plus, the atmosphere at our seats pungent and earthy. Joan age 63 came on promptly and without a lot of fan fair. She immediately got the crowd off their feet, ‘Are you ready for a day of rock and roll?’ Dressed all in black, black Gibson in hand with a pink heart on it ‘Girl Is Not A Four Letter Word’, we could all agree on one thing, that ‘ROCK’ is! The drum kit in like fashion was all in black monogramed on the bass drum, ‘JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS’. The fact that Joan had been touring right up to the stadium dates was evident in the fact that she did not miss a single beat throughout the 45 minute set. She sounded identical to me as she had some 33 years earlier. Poison coming off a 4 year hiatus was simply amazing! The energy alone from Bret Michaels working the crowd (dressed in a black Poison shirt with trademark bandanna) was contagious. ‘I don’t care if it snowed, we were coming here to throw a party!’, at 59 he looks great! CC at 60 with long hair, aviator glasses, his red vested top hat and GMP flying V was strong as ever playing a 4 minute solo (far too short to spotlight his talent) that included an excerpt from ‘Eruption’. Rikki Rockett had a super cool green kit with the Poison skull and bones on the bass drum, the bones were images of sticks creatively spelling out his name. A row of light boxes kept everything captivating and bright during the hour long daylight set. Crue was the most visual. Being their first major tour in 7 years the anticipation was mounting as even their stage set was reported being shut up a warehouse for over two years. A sound from the video screens came on like a breaking news report, ‘For the next 2 hours music will be the only form of communication!’ What seemed to be a stage length partition designed to conceal the stage crew during the turn time doubled as a video screen with the words ‘THE FUTURE IS OURS’, rising up and revealing the set. There were four large radio towers or ‘lighting trees’ with spiked tips extending up. There was what looked to be erector set staging all over the stage with which dancing girls could use to climb. Yes there were dancing girls ‘The Nasty Habits’, who also sang and I’m pretty sure they weren’t background tracked. Two huge inflatable futuristic looking mannequins filled up the already crowded stage for ‘Girls Girls Girls’. Neil addressed the crowd, ‘We’re back, we’re back, you thought we were gone and now were f*****g back… let’s go! The focus would not be on Vince Neil’s voice but his frontman-ship. I had heard that he has never really had a strong stage voice so I wasn’t there to hear studio albums reproduced. However had stated that he was going to get himself in shape for the tour (and after recently seeing Bon Jovi), he did a great job! Tommy Lee who had suffered 4 broken ribs a couple weeks prior to opening night played his first entire set! He was also featured on a piano that rose up from beneath the catwalk for ‘Home Sweet Home’. One couldn’t tell that Mick Mars 71 was the oldest performer of the evening, he carried himself with the best of them. There were to be no pyrotechnics on this tour however at the end of Crue’s set, a huge smoke screen from the back of the floor section rose toward the sky like giant pink cotton candy, awful smelling and view obstructing. The band played an hour and a half. Honestly, that stage was a lot to switch out for Def Leppard and it took about 35 minutes, the crew did great. A video screen countdown commenced, 10-9-8… and Leppard followed with a flawless 18 song set. Joe Elliott 62 in the front clearly has stayed in vocal-shape, ‘It’s been a hell of a wait, we want to thank you for waiting for us!’ The bands recent gig at the ‘Whisky A Go Go’ was all it took to get them in top form for this tour which included four tracks from the new album. The set list was heavy on the Hysteria album being its 35th anniversary, a whopping seven songs made the cut. The custom drum kit had the ‘Diamond Star Halos’ eye with the DL pyramid on it operating under clear command and control of Rick Allen sporting his Union Jack headphones. A second drum set rose up out of the catwalk for ‘This Guitar’ the first song in an acoustic set which for me was a highlight of the evening musically. The set lasted about 1 1/2 hours, it may not have had the glam of Crue but musically (in my opinion) it was the best performance of the evening and the order of bands worked well. There was nothing notably missing from either bands set lists (save ‘Too Late For Love’) which made for a great night. Also there was a 25% chance of thunderstorms to which we all stayed ‘High ’N’ Dry’ minus a light shower during ‘Pour Some Sugar’. All I could think of was my old man saying, ‘What, are you made of sugar?’ BOA Stadium staff were great, they moved everyone quickly in and through security with zero nitpicking, kudos. The sound was very good for a stadium show, not too loud not too soft. In summary, this was more than just hair bands or glam bands reliving their glory days, this was the 80’s in Rock N Roll still alive and well in 2022!” by DAve (Concerts #670-673)

Def Leppard was solid and always puts on a great show. Wish that they had closed out the night though as they SHOULD have been the feature group of the night!! Poison and Joan Jett were also on par for the earlier opening acts. Motley Crew played loud and had lots of girls dancing around half naked but didn’t bring the house down as the finishing act of the night. Crew still can play the music, just can’t sing much anymore, as Vince just seems a bit tired from singing these songs for so long… overall though a memorable and fun night out in Philly!!! 👍🏼👍🏼🎸🌃

Overall didn’t play the set I wished to see. Been to 8 DefLep concerts and have yet to have had Paper Sun played. Loved it when they use to start the concert with Lets Go... but they didn’t even play that at all this time. Caught myself asking WTF when they played about 4 of their bubble gum songs in the middle of the concert. Set list was random. No real climax of the usual concert live fun insanity they are known for and it looks to me like maybe they’re getting watered down some or fkn tired... love them but I was disappointed. Unbelievable night with Def Leppard. I will think of this show every time I go by Wrigley Field. Heard all of my favorite songs. I think the guys on stage were just as blown away by the crowd. We were going nuts! Joe Elliott is such a good dude, said this was the biggest show they'd done on Chicago. "And there will be a next time!!" Hope so! He was on point tonight. Happy for these guys. True pros and great people on top of being awesome performers. Very nice weather after a hot week. Good sound. Thank you to the event staff.

It was sooooo awesome! When i met them they were soo sweet! I just loved it. They did a fantastic job, and it was amazing! I couldn't ask for a better concert! They showed such talent and i was so amazed! The lights, the screen, the instruments, and the vocals were wonderful! I am sooo grateful i got to meet such wonderful people and that i got to experience such a well done concert performed by such nice, talented people!
