Both members of illegalPARTY were troubled youths from LA who both found music as an outlet to vent to the world about their hardships and what they've experienced in their lives. Bernard Pyun had his fair share of troubles with the police while Eddie Chang rolled indefinitely with the wrong crowd and has a gunshot wound with a bullet still lodged in that reminds him everyday that life should never be wasted away. These hardships sparked the fire for inspiration for both to unite, get involved with the scene, and make a difference. Today, you'll find these two working hard in the studio on their own productions while working hard to unite local DJs and Producers and offering them a place to express themselves in intimate settings with their weekly DEEP ELEMENTS & THE UNDAGROUND parties at various underground venues in Los Angeles. In 2014, the duo launched DS#ARP Records to further help fuel their dreams on spreading the very best in House & Techno. They stand behind their motto - "Fuck cheese.....we bringin' filet mignon!" So don't expect cheesy EDM from this crew. It's all about the underground, dark, and deep for this duo! With all these events going on, it's no surprise that these two are quickly grabbing up all of the coveted residencies in Los Angeles and expanding on to other cities at a lightning pace.
