The performance is five stars but I'm not a fan of the venue. Too sterile and it seems to s**k some of the life out of the show. Would prefer to see them in another local venue.

An amazing concert!!!! Matt was terrific, I could listen to his voice all day long. His stage presence is great and Matt and his band are so talented. They all gel so well and you can see how truly happy they are performing all together. A five star concert for sure!!! We have seen him many many times and will continue to go to his concerts whenever we can. Thanks for coming to Courtenay!! And to Campbell River back in February. Looking forward to next time you are here!!!

Bummed to hear about Matthew Goods medical issues that hampered him from playing guitar at all but even though he wasn’t playing he put on a great fun show. His vocals were great the venue was actually awesome I had front row seats. Matt’s banter with the crowd was fun. Haven’t seen him for a few years and actually got a bunch of back stage access passes from him and his old band. Wish him well and better health in the future.

Loved the personal experience of a smaller venue. Matthew Good can still rock his older songs, and his band was on point. Thanks for a great show, guys! 😁

A fun, great energy show. The band was strong and so fun to watch and interact with during the meet and greet. Great group of guys! Fun to sing along and get lost in the energy of the audience. Fab venue! The opening band Vilivant kicked a**e! Those vocals and glitter boots!

Saw MG in Sarnia. 3rd row seats. Great show. I love Matt’s humor when talking in between songs. The band was excellent too. I hope to see MG again and see him play guitar next time!!! Setlist was good but wished he played longer! And played It’s Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man! Can’t wait to see you again to promote your new album coming out this summer.

nice small venue. Loved seeing him. Sound was not great from where I was standing (10ft from Matt). I couldn't hear his voice much, but could hear the band. Not sure if that was from my angle, mid stage 10 ft away. Otherwise love the venue.

Excellent show. If you’ve see MGB or MG over the years then you know what to expect and you won’t be disappointed. Without a new album to promote (yet) this tour feels like it’s skewering a bit toward his pre-2010 catalog, if that’s what you prefer. I personally wish the show was 3-4 songs longer but I can’t complain. 90 minutes is a solid show and I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing him on tour again sooner rather than later.

Great show! Even Matthew Good seemed like he was having an uncharacteristically good time! However, tickets said doors at 7pm, we arrived at 7:50 and doors were not open. We got into the venue at 8:20pm. It appeared as though they were still trying to get organized. Many people seemed to have been waiting outside for more than an hour and doors were actually at 8pm.

The show was pretty good, first time at that venue. Matthew was very engaged with the crowd and played some great tunes. The opening act, Simon, was good too. Good experience all around!

About last night 🥰 Hubby and I went to see Matt Good’s Acoustic Show in Mission at The Clarke Theatre. This man has been a favourite musician of mine since 1995. My favourite song from MGB’s first album is Symbolistic White Walls, he played it last night, I shed some tears because I have always wanted to hear it performed live and finally I got to and it was acoustic, my favourite🥹🥰 When hubby and I first met, the first song we ever danced to was Apparitions, and this was the last song of the evening before the encore began. When I was pregnant in 2007 he released Hospital Music, and that’s the album I listened throughout my pregnancy and in the hospital while having O. This was the first music O ever heard. He played a few songs off that album and so many more. This man suffers with his mental health and talks about it because we shouldn’t feel shame because of how our mental health is affecting us. I will always love his music and how he continues to thrive when people constantly try to cut him down. So grateful to have experienced last night. So much love for this artist❤️ Matthew Good Thank you!!!

An intimate shoe in the best of settings. Very happy that the Playlist veered into the lesser known songs but fan classics either way. Matt has a spectacular voice....his opener Carly was also great. Can't wait to see Mr. Good again... A 50yr old fan from the beginning....TD

Matthew Good, (in my opinion) puts in the best performance. So thankful that his shows are intimate, pure and never disappointing. His art is genius!

Matthew Good put on a great solo acoustic show. He played some of his solo songs as well as earlier stuff from the Matthew Good Band in creative ways. His banter and presence were great. The venue was not good. The artist was in the middle of a large area with wineries all around. You could buy tickets for the centre area or all the tasting patios in the wineries around. By the time we heard about the concert, the centre area was spoken for. The winery we sat at was at the performers back and most of the people sitting there, including the owners of that winery, seemed uninterested in the concert, speaking to each other very loudly, making it difficult to enjoy the music and impossible to hear Matthew Good talking between songs. We moved to another area about halfway through the concert and were able to thoroughly enjoy the rest of the concert. Unless I could get seats on the floor and not at one of the wineries, I would not return to this venue for another concert. I would happily attend another Matthew Good concert in our area!

Was great to see Matt return to touring. Saw his last concert, with his band, in Toronto before the lockdowns, and wasn’t going to miss this show. Worth every second of the wait - terrific set list, lots of banter with the crowd, and fantastic performance, despite his claims of being “rusty”. Matt - thanks for a terrific show. Hope you’ll come further oot east to Toronto.
