What an amazing concert! I have seen Matt play I believe 5 times now live. I would have to say that I SO enjoyed the small town venue (as always) here in Banff. I have always seen Mr. Anderson play solo. I found that I really enjoyed his matchup with Mr. Kim Dunn? I think I spelt that correctly.
What a fantastic performance from both! Kim complimented Matt’s guitar playing and amazing voice. Matt complimented Kim’s stunning piano playing. Well done, both of you!!! I would also like to say how much I enjoyed the spatter of Christmas songs throughout their performance. Kim’s original Christmas song was very uplifting, whereas Matt sang Holy Night impeccably! Thank you both for such an enjoyable evening! I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Your fan always,
Rachel

The show was amazing. Just Matt and piano (I’m sorry I missed the talented gentleman’s name). A little Christmas mixed with Matt’s great songs - wonderful intimate venue. Loved it!!!

One of the best shows I've ever seen! Matt Andersen's voice is beyond exceptional! Kim Dunn is a gifted and intuitive piano player. Wow. What a gift to see them together.

Super skilled guitarist, and gifted vocalist. Along with being humorous and warm personal connection with his audience. I will see him every chance I get when he is in town.

Never had that experience before. Wildly entertaining, heartfelt, and just a pure dose of something you didn't know you needed. Thank you

The Grand is always a great venue, and I've seen Matt at least 5 previous times. Many of those it was simply Matt & his guitar, but always wonderful. Last night, he took it to another level. The Hello Darlin's were a great opening act, and Matt had 8 others on stage with him. Great backup singers, top notch musicians, and the whole production was superb. The Hello Darlin's came back on stage for the last 4 or so songs. The last couple were such fabulous 'finale' songs that we didn't need to waste energy pushing for an encore. We had effectively got it. Matt was at his vocal, humor, and overall entertaining finest!

Oh my. What a talent! And the band. Funny, engaging and great choice of opening act. Wish I would have gone to the first show…we would have come back for the second. The finale- had everyone on their feet wanting more. Thank you.

Matt Anderson has a great band backing him... they were all awesome at the Hollywood Theatre. And... they ROCKED!!! This was my first time at the venue, I loved it. I loved the second level up, the level where the bars are...dance floor right there. Love being able to dance!! I also liked that they had lots of bathrooms. I didn't have to stand in line once...all night. Great show, bring Matt back to the Hollywood!!!

Matt is a great talent and puts on a great show. His voice is soulful and beautiful. His guitar playing is just out of this world. His stage presence is very entertaining. I was thrilled to see him for the second time in such a formerly iconic venue as the Cactus Cafe. I still have hope that the Cactus will resume bringing in talent like Matt Anderson like they used to do. The management of his show by the Cactus left a lot to be desired. The show showed up on his calendar back in November 2022 but did not show up on the Cactus calendar until late January. Then, the show was listed as a "free show" with no explanation. Other shows on Matt's tour were not free and were sold out (as they should have been). It was not possible to speak to anyone at the Cactus to get clarification. After deciding to not try to get into a free show, I decided at the last minute to risk being to get in. I was a singleton and showed up just after the doors open and was able to get a seat. (I had decided not to go since Cactus had fumbled the ball so badly in getting the show on its calendar.) I have been a fan of Matt Anderson since he put on an outstanding show at the Calgary Folk Fest several years ago. I hope Cactus brings him back again and again and / or he gets gigs in Austin at more organized venues. He is superb and not to be missed!

What a truly remarkable and talented musician, both with his voice and his guitar playing ability. I highly recommend seeing Matt live. It seems his music was written to be seen live. His live performance brings out so many dimensions to the music that a recording never can. That being said his albums are still phenomenal.
I first saw Matt open for Robert Plant at Chateau St Michelle the summer of 2013. I was blown away then and had been waiting to see him again since then. The intimate setting of the Triple Door was a great place for that to happen.
Go see Matt, you will not be disappointed.

Five star performance dropped to 4 1/2 due to technical glitches in streaming which was mot the fault of the band.
Matt Andersen always outs on a great show and this one maintained this consistent excellence. The Bug Bottle of Joy were exactly that as all the musicians were terrific and appeared to be having fun while putting on a great show. The performers' enthusiasm usually projects into the audience at a live performance enhancing everyone's enjoyment and I am happy to say, this livestream still projected that energy into our home. This made the show even more fun to watch. A big thank you to Matt Andersen and friends who, despite any technical glitches, still provided 90 minutes if fun and enjoyment.

Great show, how is this guy not making millions and Justin Bieber does? Whenever he returns to Arnhem, I'll be there.

Matt is amazing. You can appreciate the beauty and power of his voice until you’ve seen him live.

I can’t effectively describe the greatness of this guy. Unfortunately there were not a lot of people at this show and all I can say is that true music fans really missed something special. If you get a chance to see Matt play do yourself a favor and pay whatever it costs to see him perform. He is that awesome. Can’t wait until he returns to Charlotte!

It was an amazing show! Matt played awesome! Playing songs from his last 4 albums including Devil's Bride after I requested it three songs earlier. Then he broke it out with a nice little intro.
