ENG: In the beginning of 2001 Halo Effect started their project of making music, formed by John Andrew Peverieri (vocals, lyrics, synths & programming), Alessandro Polinori (vocals, lyrics, synths & programming), and Marco Cattani (guitar, lyrics, synths & programming). Federico Rosi left the band in october 2017. The strong live activity has led them to play in several italian cities and international too (in 2013 they played at Moritzbastei for the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig), gaining an increasing positive feedback from the audience and also sharing the stage with artists like Melotron, Covenant, Cruxshadows, Steve Naghavi (And One), De/Vision, Bloody, Dead & Sexy, e Krisma. After having been self-produced several demos and albums (“New Romantic Industry” in 2007 and “The Fourth Zone” in 2009), in 2012 they signed for the EK Product / Space Race Records label, achieving the album “Recoding” produced by Mika Rossi (Autodafeh / Endless Shame), who gave to it an “international” touch to the Halo Effect sound. In 2015 the album “Life is Perfect” (that reached the 7th position at the DAC and at GEWC, the 6th position in the ranking of Poponaut), is been produced by Rob Early (Retrogramme / 11grams). Their discography is integrated by several maxi singles and remix albums too (the double album “Code mixing” in 2014 and “Life is remixed” that’s a triple album out in 2017). All the remixes are by international djs and bands such as Beborn Beton, The Eternal Afflict, Spektralized, Foretaste, Lights of Euphoria, Neuroactive, Retrogramme, Substaat, Mantra of Machines, Dupont, Ad:Key, Norman Nodge, Falhaber, etc… Many official videoclips have been produced by the band and available on youtube: “Hammer the Gear”, “Sector Beta” and “My Mistakes”. Da sempre impegnati in una intensa attività live che li ha portati a suonare in varie parti d'Italia ed all’estero (nel 2013 hanno suonato al Moritzbastei all’interno del Wave-Gotik-Treffen di Lipsia) ottenendo un crescente riscontro di pubblico e condividendo il palco con artisti del calibro di Melotron, Covenant, Cruxshadows, Steve Naghavi (And One), De/Vision, Bloody, Dead & Sexy, e Krisma. Dopo alcuni demos e alcuni album autoprodotti (“New Romantic Industry” del 2007 e “The Fourth Zone” del 2009), nel 2012 firmano con l’etichetta EK Product / Space Race Records.
