Als The Colts im Jahr 2008 gegründet werden ist die Musikrichtung bereits klar: Kompromissloser Hard Rock.
Angetrieben durch die Sounds von Rockgrößen wie AC/DC, Deep Purple oder Motörhead, wurden die beiden Demos „Grandma Death“ (2009) und „Gunfire“ (2010) aufgenommen und schnell einige Bühnenerfahrung gesammelt.
Im Dezember 2011 werden die vielen energiegeladenen Liveshows und der ehrliche Sound beim Deutschen Rock & Pop Preis mit der Wahl zum „Best Hard Rock Act“ belohnt. Im folgenden Jahr können sich The Colts dann als Support-Acts für Bands wie „Nashville Pussy“ und „Black Stone Cherry“ beweisen und eine hohe Platzierung im Emergenza Band Contest verzeichnen.
Um ein erfolgreiches Jahr abzuschließen starten Sänger Benni Bazooka, die Gitarristen Timo Heinrichs und Dennis Feibel, Bassist Andi Schirmeyer und Drummer Robin Steiner Ende 2012 die Arbeiten am Debütalbum „Hard To Handle“, welches am 20.09.2013 veröffentlich wird.
Mit einem Sound der nah an ihren Vorbildern ist, Refrains zum Mitsingen und rollenden Gitarren-Riffs werden 11 pure Hard Rock Songs ohne Experimente abgeliefert.
Mit dem Debütalbum im Gepäck sind The Colts hungrig auf Mehr. Mehr Shows. Mehr Rock N Roll.

When The Colts were formed in 2008 the style of music was already clear: uncompromising hard rock.
Driven by the sounds of rock legends like AC/DC, Deep Purple or Motörhead, the two demos „Grandma Death“ (2009) and „Gunfire“ (2010) were recorded and some stage experience was gained quickly.
In December 2011 numerous energetic live shows and the honest sound were rewarded at the German Rock & Pop Award for ""Best Hard Rock Act"". The following year The Colts could prove themselves as support acts for Bands like „Nashville Pussy“ and „Black Stone Cherry“ and reached a high ranking at the nationwide known Emergenza band contest.
To complete a succesfull year, vocalist Benni Bazooka, the guitarists Timo Heinrichs and Dennis Feibel, bassplayer Andi Schirmeyer and drummer Robin Steiner started to work an their debut album „Hard To Handle“, which was released 20th September 2013.
With a sound that is close to their idols, sing-along choruses and rolling guitar riffs, 11 pure Hard Rock songs are delivered without any experiments.
With the debut album in hand The Colts are hungry for more. More shows. More Rock N Roll.
