Billy Strings was absolutely AMAZING!!! The improvisation was🔥🔥🔥!!! Billy is so authentic and a natural artist. We can’t wait till he comes back to Boston!! Maybe even the “Xfinity Center in Mansfield MA or TD Garden in Boston🙏 If I had only one critique…I would love to hear more songs than the improve, not that I don’t LOVE the improve….its just Billy has so many songs that I would have loved to hear more!!! A BIG shoutout to Billy’s band brothers…Royal Masat, Jarrod Walker, , Russ Carson and Jerry Douglas absolute 🔥🔥🔥 I can’t wait!! For his next tour!!!!

Excellent show …1000’s of notes played well to the delight of the entire house! Great musicianship and an extensive palette expanding what might be expected from “hillbilly music” to expansions into prog rock or psychedelia or genres hard to pigeon hole. From Hank to Hendrix+!

Fantastic blend of Bluegrass, & Americana. I’m new to his music but love old country, Bluegrass and Rock. He is an amazing guitarist and can play anything on any stringed instrument. He goes into these jams in the middle of his regular songs - like Hendrix or Clapton or Prince. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen

Billy Strings turned CFG Bank Arena into a full-on bluegrass-meets-rock spectacle! Incredible musicianship, nonstop energy, and a crowd completely locked in from start to finish. The mix of covers and originals — from “Frankenstein” to “War Pigs” — showed just how fearless and versatile this band is. Hands down one of the best live shows I’ve ever been to!

I’ve seen Billy live 4 times now and this was by far the best show. Not that I didn’t enjoy the other shows, but this show was such a great combination of tunes and more trippy which I really like . It seemed like the band was so into it.

Outstanding! Billy and his band are unbelievable! Played 3 hours with a 20 minute break! Members from Leftover Salmon came on stage after break and they played 7 songs together! The venue also makes you have an enjoyable experience and the Orion does disappoint, from easy access off the highway to ease of leaving and everything in between!

Billy Strings is riveting and relentless. His guitar is a wondrous weapon of virtuosity. He plays bluegrass with the fury of Jimmy Paige and the blinding speed of Pete Townshend. Billy’s formidable band is as spectacular as he is. They hand riffs to one another like Magic dished dimes to Kareem and company during Showtime. Bringing Sierra Hull to join the fun was a stroke of mandolin magic. Strings shows are the gold standard.

As expected, the show was exciting, great musicianship in an amazing venue (the Roundhouse)! It was really a big moment for me, as I was looking forward to seeing (and hearing) Alex Hargreaves and he did not disappoint. It was crazy crowded and sweltering on the floor (I know, what did I expect) and I had a 'moment' shall we say where I kinda blacked out, right at the start of Mire, but , as I told the paramedic I was fine and really needed to hear this song , so they gave me some water and and I only missed the opening bars.... Wonderful night!!

show was great - and long. . different setlist for every show. Fantastic musicians, good sound. Venue is remotely located and getting there by car and parking a catastrophy. which we tried, because nearby S-Bahn station has no elevators - no good for wheelchair users. So we were late for the beginning of the show. also, the venue provides NO elevated site for wheelchair users. persons in a wheelchair seem to be prohibited to use an existing elevated area. Wheelchair user who dared do go up there (with assistance) was treated very rudely by obviously incompetent security persons right after the show.

I'm lucky enough to have seen him twice. I listen to a lot of rock and metal and guitar-based music. Billy Strings is hands down the best guitarist I've ever seen, and it's bluegrass! Of all the shredders from all the acts I've witnessed, Billy Strings has been the best. His whole band is amazing. On top of it - for all the guitarists who want to nerd out - listen to his playing. His notes are completely crisp and solid. Just watch a video of one of his live performances and you'll see what I mean. Every single note is so intentional and firmly pressed down that it's magic. I'm lucky to have seen him!

First time seeing Billy Strings and Fuzzy Rainbows was at Red Rocks in Colorado and it was the best concert ever, and I’ve been going to shows since 1975. Second time seeing Billy Strings on February 21, 2023 at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville Virginia, and it was the second best concert ever.

Terrific show. What a talented group of musicians not to mention the artistry of the backdrop display, lights and video. This performer knows how to put on a show which might be enough but adding in the complex beauty of his songwriting puts him way over. Loved his songs even more in person and loved the live arrangements.

Great music... lots of smelly dirty hippies with hairy arm pits and legs. I was unaware personal hygiene was frowned upon at a billy strings concert lol. Also billy went psychedelic for 20 30 minutes at a time, multiple times. In my opinion there is a fine line between music and noise, he walked that line for sure. All in all we loved the performance they are great musicians and very talented. But with all the noise it was hard to tell the songs apart. Would definitely see him again.

I saw Billy with Billy and Kids but never his band. I knew he could play and sing his a*s off. Seeing his band was incredible and gave me a feeling of musical bliss like concerts of The Grateful Dead, Phish and King Crimson of my youth. Chis Jacobs Band and everyone who played were great.

It was the first time I saw Billy live. Although it was a great show, I was told by another fan that he didn’t get to really showcase his talent in the restricted festival time slot. With that, I plan to see him again sometime in the near future.

Couldn’t have picked a better artist for my first pilgrimage to the Mother Church. Billy and the boys are so insanely talented not just as musicians but also entertainers. And the second set? Bob Weir?! Bucket list. My only complaint is that the show ended! Could’ve used another Billy set at the end, but can’t be upset about an entire Billy set and an entire Billy & Bob Dead set!

I do not understand how BillyS, BillyF, Jarrod and Royal keep getting better! I would rank this show up there with the Atlanta route! The sound, lighting and seating was perfect. Jarrod shredded like I haven't seen before and Strings melted my mind and invaded my heart with his flat-pickin and psychedelic drifts....About to head up for round 2!! Really excited to see what they put in this set list! If you have not seen Billy Strings perform live yet, you are missing out and will regret it if you keep missing opportunities!
