I loved it! A fairly compact venue which suited the girls and the rest of the band. The sound was great. The staff were helpful and friendly (inc. security!) Probably the best gig I've been to there. Between Rock City, Stealth, Black Cherry & the Rescue Rooms the only thing missing is food. Overall though, you go for the music...Great band and venue ! 😎

What a fantastic high energy gig from Dea Matrona at The Garage. Orláith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn won the crowd over right from the outset with "Red Button" and "Stuck on You" and carried them on a high for the whole set. Declan supporting in the background on lead guitar and moving seamlessly to a set of conga when the need arose. Ross steady as ever on drums holding the rhythm together. A fairly unique arrangement of Orláith and Mollie swapping their bass and lead guitars during the shows and playing the equally well impressed me as well as Declan playing Orláith's right-hand guitar left-handed! My favourite of the night (and it was difficult to choose) was the final song of the set, an emotional rendition of Glory, Glory (I am Free). The band had to come back for an encore and put their "Stamp on it" What a night, an outstanding gig and can't wait for the next one.

Superb performance from them again, they just get better every time I See them, this makes 4x... They had the audience on their side right form the start, good choice of support act as well, here's to hoping they release a live album at some point, that captures them at their best

The support act was excellent, Dea Matrona was as normal fantastic and rocked the venue and had a great bond with the audience, plus a little more knowledge given by them as well. Also gained a knew friend who attended and it was the first time she'd been and know wants to come again. Great night

They were incredible, can't wait to eventually see them again! Great stage presence and even better music. They were really nice, even signed a cd for my friend and I.

The girls were great as usual but their set as support act was ridiculously short. 30 minutes on stage is absurd. One final point, their own music is very good, these girls are very talented and deserve to go far, but they really shouldn't open their set with 'Stamp on it'. It may have been their first release but it really isn't a good song. Thankfully their later material is far far better.

Great to see them again. Great sound, great songs. Should have been on a lot longer, it seemed to go so quick! Can't wait to see them again!

Very talented young ladies reminiscent of Alannah Myles and a little bit Bangles. Will definitely buy a ticket next time they are in town.

Absolutely brilliant! The band was clearly pleased to be back in Belfast after a really busy and successful time on tour, promoting their debut album and reaching new fans. They looked so relaxed and happy without losing a bit of professionalism. I can't wait for their next gig!

this band is improving day by day they have always been excellent musicians but now their stage presence & crowd appeal have vastly improved with time & experience Now a headline band

Everything was absolutely first class Dea Matrona were on fire, their playing, singing and presentation was magnificent, the venue was great and the audience was loving every second. A great support spot from Canadian band Housewife as well

Having followed Dea Matrona for a while now it was great to finally see them play live at the Joiners in Southampton. The girls put on an excellent show with both demonstrating their amazing guitar and singing skills. I bought their latest CD straight after the show which Mollie and Orlaith were both kind enough to autograph. I definitely plan see them play live again.

Downstairs venue, access from rear. Dea Matrona where their usual energetic selves with lots of banter with the sold out crowd.

Small intimate venue upstairs. Dea Matrona where fantastic, now touring as four piece with extra guitarist. First gig of Debut Album Tour "For Your Sins" Lots of energy and great reception of new tracks not played live before.

The support band eevah were great they really got the audience going then the main attraction Dea Matrona came on stage they really rocked the place the girls had so much energy it was amazing how they kept it up for the full set unfortunately the mix was a little bit off with the drums drowning out some of the vocals but it’s fair to say no one really cared it ws a high energy very polished show from start to finish

Fabulous gig in a very special venue where you can get to see up close and actually talk to your artists at the merch etc. Great night with the new blossoming talent of Dea Matrona's melodic rock with 70s influences balancing the high energy modern rock of Kris's band. What a showman! After the gig the open mike night was still going strong in the bar. A very special venue indeed.

Great venue, bar with food next door and linked. Dea Matrona produced one of their best gig performances to a very receptive and lively crowd. A very good short set as support act. Eleven songs included their famous Oh Well cover and two acoustic tracks. Will be back to Manchester as headline act in May (date and venue to be announced)

I wish Mamie was still the drummer. She added so much talent to the band and was a great fit. Orlaith & Mollie were great. I love their guitar playing and stage performance was awesome.
