Jesse Rivest is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Kelowna, BC. He's not well-known, but not for lack of talent or hard work—he's spread himself thin, living in various countries over the past 16 years. His first LP was made in Calgary in 2006; his next EP came from New Zealand in 2011; since 2020 he's been producing steadily from Brazil. His latest collaboration, Wonderful Words, was on the Spotify editorial playlist, Vocal Jazz, for 11 months; his style generally falls in the indie folk realm. An adventurous soul, his songs often take a path less trodden; however, they're accessible enough to warmly invite you along on a journey of singular perspective through familiar places.
