Logan Lynn is a songwriter, producer, filmmaker, television personality, band manager, and activist who Billboard writes “has made a career out of crafting catchy, disorderly songs with big beats, fun melodies, and cheeky lyrics.”
Over a 25-year career, Lynn has released albums and singles on Caroline Records, EMI, Beat The World Records, Greyday Records, Mohr Media, Banana Stand Records, Kill Rock Stars, and his own imprint, Logan Lynn Music.
In addition to his work as an artist, Lynn is an experienced music industry executive and community organizer. He is the Co-Founder, CEO + President of Music in Demand, a talent agency representing a global roster of out-and-proud LGBTQ+ artists, DJs, bands, and performers. The company operates as part of The Gaybors Group, connecting diverse queer talent with venues, festivals, and events worldwide. Logan is also the President of The Gaybors Group.
Lynn is the former host of NewNowNext Music on MTV’s Logo Network, and his music and videos have appeared on MTV, VH1, Logo, Spike TV, Revry, and other platforms since 1999. His work has also appeared in international advertising campaigns for brands including CoverGirl, Oscar de la Renta, Nicole Miller, and Volkswagen.
He received the 2017 Award of Excellence from the National Council for his advocacy work and for founding the Keep Oregon Well campaign addressing mental health stigma. In 2018, he partnered with Portugal. The Man to integrate mental-health advocacy into their tour and later joined the band’s team, expanding this work with artists including NOFX, Lucy Dacus, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Boygenius.
Lynn signed to Kill Rock Stars in 2020 and was named to the OUT100 in the Performers of the Year category the following year. His recent releases include the album SOFTCORE (2024) and its companion HARDCORE, featuring numerous collaborators.
In 2025 Logan Lynn announced that he was leaving Kill Rock Stars to launch a new label imprint, PortuGAY, under Portugal. The Man’s KNIK Records. The label’s first official release is a feature-length film about Lynn’s life and career, titled The Pain And The Power. Logan’s 12th studio album is also the soundtrack to the film, out September 4th, 2026.
