Sam Scherdel has been carving a name as one of the most exciting emerging artists from the North of England. After releasing his debut EP Meet Me On The Moon in February 2025, he’s continued to prove a staple of the live music scene, performing at festivals including Glastonbury and Tramlines, and supporting acts such as Two Door Cinema Club, Embrace, and Ocean Colour Scene.

Often described as the “South Yorkshire Springsteen,” Sam combines raw, heartfelt songwriting with anthemic indie-rock energy. With producer Colin Elliot (Richard Hawley) at the helm of his forthcoming second EP Boy Who Fell To Earth (due early 2026), he’s building momentum as a truly independent artist.

Following sold-out shows in Sheffield, Liverpool and beyond, Sam now steps into his next chapter with a Winter 2025 headline tour and a string of new releases, cementing his place as a rising voice in UK alternative music.
