Ein internationaler Senkrechtstarter an der Akustikgitarre aus Ostfriesland? Hier ist er: Sönke Meinen. Eine einzige Gitarre und einen Barhocker, viel mehr braucht dieser von Grund auf sympathische Typ nicht, um die Erwartungen an das Genre des klassischen Gitarrenkonzerts zu brechen und sein Publikum in aller Welt zu begeistern. Mit seinen mitreißenden Konzerten macht er akustische Gitarrenmusik für alle zugänglich, die auf der Suche nach Neuem, Handgemachtem und Außergewöhnli- chem oder einfach nach bester musikalischer Unterhaltung sind.

Sönke Meinen macht sich sämtliche Einflüsse von Folk, Pop, Klassik, Jazz über Weltmusik bis hin zu Filmmusik zu eigen.
