The JV All*Stars について
A quartet of boys from Lincoln, Neb., are the heart and soul behind J.V. All*stars. The versatile four-piece boasts a diverse collection of life-weary songs and a dedication to passionate songwriting. Their energetic, recognizable pop-punk sound is built around honest, heartfelt
songs and the friendship between JVA's four members. The band's three singers pack songs full of melody and ambience, while drums and electric
instruments lay a roaring, solid foundation. A sonic cross between Midtown and Homegrown, the band embraces pop-sensibility while remaining pleasingly raw and fresh.
Their breakout full-length, "Girls Forget Your Boys Forget Your Girls," debuted on Suckapunch Records in August, 2005, and was rereleased less than two months later by Medic Records (Minutes Too Far, Anchors For Arsenals). The 13-track, full-length was recorded at Presto! Studios in Lincoln over 11 days in June, 2005. The band enlisted the engineering and production talent of A.J. Mogis, best known for his work with Saddle Creek Records bands The Faint, Bright Eyes, and Cursive.
Since the band's inception in 2000, JVA has independently released two records, played two warped tours, shared the stage with countless national touring bands, toured for months at a time, and fostered fanbases all over the
country via touring and sales. Fiercely independent, tenacious, and dedicated, JVA works hard and plays even harder. The band plans to play
more t the east coast that warmly received then in 2004 and 2005.
More than anything, JVA believes that struggle is what makes friends into
best friends. Behind the volume, thats exactly what they are.
