The Van Burens are a family band bringing the party worldwide and beyond for over a decade. The Official Band of Quincy, MA (the City of Presidents), the VBs are dedicated to the pursuit of energetic shows that move folks to dance, laugh, and feel feelings. These hot band of songwriter nerds serves up an eclectic mix of reggae, funk, and rock music in the tradition of family ensembles like The Wailers, Parliament, and The Band. Veterans of club and festival shows in Boston and New England, the VB’s longstanding residency at the Middle East was a staple of 2010’s Cambridge. In 2020 the band released their third EP Hot Date At the Money Factory.
