I’ve seen Sally perform several times and each time it’s been vocal perfection. Her voice is truly fabulous and I have no idea why she didn’t win “The Voice” all those years ago. This concert was as expected - brilliant songs and a voice that is incomparable. Her ability on the guitar matches her vocal ability - perfection . First time I’d been to the Bolehall Manor Club and I thought it was a super venue . I’ll look out for further gigs at that place .

This was a showcase of two wonderful talents, I had never heard a bassist add more than a beat, before but Alan conjured up a beautiful tapestry underpinning Sally's vocals, which clearly delighted and inspired her. Thank you both for such a generous performance.

Whether singing asTom Jones' finalist on BBC TV's The Voice, the songs of Sandy Denny in the reformed Fotheringay, revered fem-folk group The Poozies or as a solo artist supporting Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Richard Thompson Sally Barker brings any song gloriously to life.
