Great venue. Every seat offers an excellent view and the sound was great. Forbert was polite, engaging, and gave an appreciative audience a solid performance featuring his familiar hits. Grateful that he is still touring, giving it his all, and included a stop in Columbus. Thank you Steve!

Why doesn’t it allow you to leave 5 stars! I was so happy to get a seat at this sold out show. He is so sharp in wit and as a musician. His voice has grown with him and it sounds wonderful! Come back soon.

Never been to the Maverick, great place to see a show, even though I was in the back standing (there are plenty of seats, I was just late... Glad to see Forbert is still around doing his thing. The sound was great. Oh, and then, during the day, wine tasting!

This was a great show, too bad it wasn’t promoted. Small but enthusiastic crowd. Steve played for about 2 hours. 23 songs by my count. He even stayed around to sign stuff after the show.
Loved the venue as well. My first time at the Hedback Theatre. Hope you have more concerts in the future.

Fantastic show. Been listening to Steve since alive on arrival came out. The show was great. Just what I would like from a singer/songwriter. I hope to see him again soon.

LIKE, Like the renovated Iron Horse. The bar, beverage and food service seemed to work well.
It was terrific to see Steve Forbert there again!! I truly enjoy his talents and laid-back air. Rob Clores accompanies him SO well and I was able to share that with them both.

We had a great time at the show. Steve Forbert is a national treasure. Accompanied by keyboardist Rob Clores, the show featured new material from the recently released "Daylight Savings Time", along with favorites covering Steve's decades long career. Expect to hear "Purple Toyota", which if you'll pardon the expression is kick-a*s and a lot of fun. The video of the song is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. "Tomorrow Song", which wasn't played, is simply beautiful. It's also on "Daylight Savings Time". I think each show is a little different than the next. Not just song selection but how Steve sings and plays the same song different ways. Finally, Steve and Rob are nice people and appreciate the fans. Don't miss the chance to see a legend.
Hudson Candy Factory put out quite a spread at no cost to ticket holders. I've never seen that before and it was impressive. Fruits, Figs, cheeses, veggies, dips, crackers and more - and it was quality. Facility was spotless. Staff are awesome. Parking is a breeze.

As many time as I've seen him since the 70's, I've never been disappointed and this night was no different. Beautiful evening, great outdoor venue, sound was great. Cello and keyboard accompanies were perfect and Steve was fantastic. Very gracious after the show to sign his stuff (even if u didn't buy new, which I bought plenty!) and for selfie. After a long night of playing both new and old stuff, I'm sure he had to be tired. Such a great thing (for his many fans anyway) that you are able to see him at intimate venues. The show never gets boring no matter how many times I've seen him (although it's been awhile since I've moved to FL and I haven't seen him listed by me)

Steve and the Band were great. This is the second time I saw Steve this year (other time in Asbury Park). He performed two new songs from his just released material which is vintage Steve. He played two sets and mixed in three songs from his first LP. Seeing Steve at an outdoor venue is magical. It was a free event but you can tell that half of the crowd knew his material.

At age 69, Steve can still rock the house. He played for nearly 2 hours straight without a break. The man loves that harmonica and has at least a dozen on hand, although he does not play it with the same vigor and volume with that tool that he had in the 1980s. He played with an excellent accompanying keyboardist.

Steve Forbert played to a packed house this Saturday. He was fantastic as usual. Such a great songwriter and showman. This was a benefit concert for The Light Of Day, and all came out to see him and support the cause.

We enjoyed an over 2 hour performance by Steve. He encouraged audience participation to the point of encouraging people to dance as he played some of his Rock and roll numbers. He even gave us an encore. It was a great afternoon.

Steve played to a sold-out crowd for almost two hours non-stop. His energy and talent are phenomenal. The crowd went wild for every song. Watching him up close on the guitar gives me goosebumps. His keyboardist Rob was also very talented!

I have been following this amazing singer/song writer since I was in high school and “Alive on Arrival” blew me away! I’m now in my 60’s and have seen Steve perform live too many times to count from the “Tin Angel” in Philadelphia to “Nell’s Jazz & Blues Club in London, England. The Kennedy Center was another example of his excellence! Thank you and George, Steve!
The “Big City Cat” brought it once again!

The bands were very good; HOWEVER, it wasn't until the third set that we realized that Steve Forbert had fallen ill and wouldn't appear at all that evening. (James Maddock mentioned it during the third set.) There had been a note mentioning Steve's absence and other things, as you walked in, but we missed the note. I was so bummed and so disappointed because I was looking forward to this so much. After initially feeling sorry for myself, I thought, heck, stop feeling sorry for yourself and think positive thoughts for Steve and pray for him to overcome this medical emergency. I traveled from NYC and was staying overnight after the show, so it was a big deal for me. Near the end of the third and final set, James Maddock again mentioned Steve and said that he'd heard Steve was feeling better, so that was good to hear. I'm hoping that the medical emergency was nothing serious and that Steve's feeling great. The venue was nice, and the staff was nice.

Despite his cold and the venue, Steve produced a mamouth set of material both old and new as only a musician of his caliber would. Shame about the layout of the venue. The raised area at front of stage was standing only which made it very difficult if you were in the seated area to engage fully with his performance.
