Brilliant and hilarious artist.

Susan Werner is always outstanding! This evening's program of her typically wise and witty cultural observations was a perfect balance of old favorites and new takes on current affairs.

Susan Werner is a great entertainer. She always leaves you satisfied, never disappointed. Her humor and talent are clear. She plays familiar songs and introduces new ones each performance, so you never find it repetitive.

Great venue and wonderful performance! Susan was fun and engaging and played thru a great set of songs!

this was one of the most enjoyable evenings we have spent since moving to santa fe! no, not one of...it was THE most enjoyable! the venue is unique and acoustically amazing. and beautiful. the entabl0 behind the 'stage' is the most beautiful backdrop for wonderful music. susan werner was a complete surprise and gift! a friend from iowa suggested we see her, and trusting his opinion, i immediately bought tix. she is such a smart songwriter - most of the music was very topical and humorous - in a cole porter/victor borge kind of way. her voice, however, seals the deal here. incredible range and beautiful placement and sound! her encore of 'la vie en rose' was the most stunning and personal rendition i have ever heard. it was so great to also find out that san miguel chapel hosts many musical act of all kinds! we will certainly be back. and hopefully, susan werner will be, as well.

Susan is always superb - if she doesn’t love what she’s doing, she must be an even better actress than musician. Talent, sincerity, and at ease with an audience. She thinks right along with the audience, in real time.

This was my first trip to see Susan Werner. What a wonderful show. She is so talented- and funny and thought provoking and fun. I loved it. The Venue was also a very intimate gallery. A great space. I really enjoyed the performance and admire the emotions- high and low that were shared with the audience. Quite the talented woman.

Susan Werner was PHENOMENAL.......... I saw her last night (May 2) in Portland and tonight (May 3) in Manchester. I drove to Portland because my granddaughter is in college in Portland and I wanted her to experience Susan. Tonight I went with friends because I live in New Hampshire. I love the mix of listening to my favorite old songs of hers and hearing the new ones she is introducing. She is such a talented lady with a fabulous voice. I am quite a "groupie"........ Susie put on a fabulous show, and Jillian was a wonderful addition! Wish she had time to do more of my favorites - Egg Money, El Dorado, Wine Bottles, Barn Radio, and Snake Oil, to mention a few. But "May I Suggest" made up for it!

Susan was amazing as usual. The Duck is a great venue....been coming here for years.

Miss Werner is difficult to review. She is so extraordinarily gifted that her no-frills image conceals the immense talent and craft and drive and the work she has done to get here. Her wry humor conceals a deeply felt philosophy. So, she does all the work and makes it easy for her audience's fun and also for the medicine go down. I haven't seen a performer to casually hold an audience in the palm of her hand since I went to Judy Garland concerts. Miss Garland had a full orchestra. Miss Werner has a guitar and piano. I would like it if more people could have the pleasure of Miss Werner's gifts. She knocked it out of the park at McCabe's.

Susan Werner is Chicken Soup for the Blues! What an incredible fun night of music! She is a comedic musical storyteller par excellence! The entire crowd was laughing and snapping and clapping and singing along with her hilarious and clever choruses. Susan can play so well on both the guitar and the keyboard. She can also belt out the most beautiful heart wrenching songs. Do yourself a favor, do not miss her if she comes to your town! City Vineyard NYC is a great spot to see a show. Cozy, great views and sound. Expansive menu and attentive staff!
