Nix Ironstone

Nix Ironstone makes dark, emotionally charged alt-rock with a goth-pop edge — pairing gritty guitars, soaring vocals and cinematic production with unapologetic stories of heartbreak, loyalty, self-worth and taking your power back.

Formerly known as Canadian country artist Nicole Rayy, Nix spent over a decade building a career rooted in storytelling and connection, earning over 5 million career streams and 10 CMAOntario Award nominations. A longtime advocate for women in music, she is also the founder of HarmoniaFest, an annual festival dedicated to creating space and opportunities for women and non-binary artists.

In 2025, a personal and artistic evolution gave way to Nix Ironstone: a new name, a darker sound and an identity that felt more like home. Drawing inspiration from artists like Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless and Linkin Park, her music blends alternative rock, indie and goth-pop into something raw, melodic and unapologetically her own.

Her debut single “Dead To Me” introduced the Nix Ironstone era in October 2025, followed by “Nervous” and “Sincerely, Me” in 2026. With her debut album now taking shape, Nix is continuing to build a world for anyone who’s ever felt too much, been underestimated, or had to find the power to choose themselves.
