This was a great show. After two songs, Donovan took song requests for the rest of the show. There were two songs where he had a fan come up and do the singing. After playing the encore, he played a few more songs upon the crowd’s request. He’s a real laid-back guy.

An incredible evening ! A gorgeous venue.. just the right size for some old songs, some new songs and some warm storytelling.. the audience loved it Two shows in one day.. both sold out. I hope he returns soon.!

Donavon delivered a great show. He opened the setlist to the audience. Also he told the audience ask me anything. He had to recall songs from early in his career that he hadn't played in a while. Hopefully I get to see him again when he travels with G Love later this year.

Donavan and band were fabulous. Heartfelt emotional energy in every song. Spacious venue yet intimate performance. Tasty pizza and brews. Could use more expansive restroom facilities.

What a treat to see Donavon in such an intimate venue. Also the sound check and meet n greet was fantastic!

One of the most intimate performances I have ever had the pleasure to attend. Spectacular musicianship in a courtyard next to Lofidelic Records. Good vibes all around!

Always an incredible show. He's a professional, the band was tight, sounded great. The venue had ample room and was A+ security was so chill. Re entry was a nice touch. I have no complaints. I'd come back to rockaway again.

Phenomenal. Intimate, and super chill. Watching him perform with Hendrix was surreal. the set list was great( not that it could be bad) and he brought his humor to it like usual. This was the first official concert for our two boys. We did the listening party VIP and Donavon couldn’t have been more humble and personable, especially with our sons. My wife and I have seen him a few times over the years but this was, for many reasons by far the best. We agreed this was by far our favorite concert going experience we’ve ever had.

He was great! I’ve seen him several times and he doesn’t disappoint but last night was especially good. The sound was spot on and the vibe was very cool. I look forward to the next time my friends and I can check the show out.

I ran into Donavan at a thrift store and was grateful for the opportunity to meet him. He is very gracious and humble. As far as the show goes, he only sang a couple of his hit songs and Devon Allman lead 90%. Don't get me wrong, Allman is a stud and is a great performer but honestly, I paid to see Donavon. Nonetheless, I am grateful to have seen Donavon and his band and will definitely go again. He was also so gracious that he invited the guy who opened for him to play rhythm guitar and crank out some ripping solos. The Spanish Ballroom is a great venue. Highly recommend the visit.
