Anton Roolaart

Anton Roolaart is a Dutch-American composer, singer, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Amsterdam. His music blends atmospheric art rock, progressive influences and intimate singer-songwriter storytelling, with richly layered arrangements, melodic guitar work and cinematic textures.

Anton has released three albums: *Dreamer* (2007, Umbrello Records), *The Plight of Lady Oona* (2014), and *The Ballad of General Jupiter* (2026), released through MoonJune Records. Over the years he has collaborated with musicians from the progressive rock community, including Rave Tesar of Renaissance.

His performances range from intimate solo acoustic sets to full-band shows, with appearances at venues and festivals across Europe and North America. In 2026, Anton returned to the European stage with performances in Belgium and Italy, including the MoonJune Festival.

Beyond his own music, Anton has long supported the progressive rock community. He founded and operated ProgRockRadio.com, an online station dedicated to the genre, which he ran for a decade until 2016.
