Worm (The World Organization of the Righteous Movement) について
W.O.R.M (The World Organization of the Righteous Movement)have spent the last 17 years “building up a reputation for bombastic and energetic live shows while honing an acerbic but familiar style of industrial/rock that demands to be heard” (ReGen Magazine). W.O.R.M are schooled primarily in Chicago industrial rock, but include elements from other genres to break ground into new sounds, taking their
signature Cold Wave style and infusing elements of metal, trip-hop, synthpop, techno and indie electro. Some critics have noted W.O.R.M are the perfect musical combination of Ministry, Chemlab, and My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult. The band’s latest album, 2017’s “the unconquerable” is an excellent showcase of these audio influences, featuring 11 new studio recordings which range from catchy club stompers to metal dirges to electro-rock funk, with guest performances from members of Pigface, The Electric Hellfire Club, Deconbrio and Flood Damage.
W.O.R.M’s back catalog contains releases put out by Ain Records, as well as Invisible Records/Underground Inc., including tracks on the latter’s renowned “Notes From Thee Real Underground” series. W.O.R.M contributed the track “Warning” to the Digital Recovery series compilation, with industrial household names such as The Clay People, Chemlab, 3Teeth, Author & Punisher, and many others. In 2016 W.O.R.M placed their single “SubHuman” on the digital release of the internationally renowned “Electronic Saviors IV” compilation (Rein[forced]/Distortion Productions). In late 2016, W.O.R.M also released a preview digital download of the song “Dig Down” (featuring Riktor Ravensbruck/The Electric Hellfire Club) as an advance single for the 2017 full-length album “the unconquerable”, coinciding with their performance as Martin Atkins’ hand-picked support for the one-time only Pigface 25th Anniversary show at House of Blues Chicago.
W.O.R.M does not discriminate by race color or creed. One World One People.
