Nukem
is a Thrash metal trio from San Diego, California, that delivers an honest, old school thrash attack.
Formed in 2012, Nukem has been hitting it hard while opening for metal giants such as Kreator, Death Angel, Saxon, Soulfly, Metal Church, Voivod, Marty Friedman & LeatherWolf, as well as promising up and comers like Havok, King Parrot & Green Death.
Although Nukem is a new band, the musicians are seasoned. Steve Brodgen (vocals, guitar), Norm Leggio (drums) and an ex-guitarist Dave Garcia played together in the power metal extraordinaire Cage. Norm has a lengthy career with progressive metal heroes Psychotic Waltz.
The debut album "The Unholy Trinity" was completely mixed & mastered by Ulrich Wild (Pantera, Static X, Dethklok, White Zombie) and is out now via Sleaszy Rider Records out of Greece.
Special guest solos appear on the album from thrash metal greats Craig Locicero (Forbidden/Dress The Dead) & Jimmy Durkin (Dark Angel) as well as super shredders Laura Christine (Warface, Zimmer's Hole) & Reece Scruggs (Havok).
