Hailing from late aughts Brooklyn, New York, The Library is On Fire blazed onto the Bushwick DIY indie scene - hosting loft parties and sharing bills with acts like DIIV & Doug Gillard, before disintegrating in 2014. Almost 10 years later, The Library is On Fire returns with Degeneration Elegies, showcasing a heavier, fiercer, and more shoegaze grunge vibe.

In Summer 2023, The Library is On Fire teamed up with the legendary Mike Watt (Minutemen, Iggy & The Stooges) for their next single, "HOTEL JUGOSLAVIJA".
