It all began with a few gigs in 2009 but in 2010 things went fast and SlickFandango became an established name on the electronic music scene in Copenhagen.
After less than 10 gigs they were booked to play during Distortion, a festival in Copenhagen celebrating electronic music. Tomas Barfod (WhoMadeWho, Filur, Jatoma) even booked them to host a stage at the Distortion Final Party. From that point there was no way back.
While playing every venue worth mentioning in Copenhagen, SlickFandango was hired by the disco boss, Jean von Baden, to host a series of four parties at Copenhagen JazzHouse. The historical jazz venue was full of good energy and guests every time and the trio had now proven they could both play well and host great parties.
In early 2011, after a great partnership, Jean von Baden recommended SlickFandango to Thomas Madvig (DJ and co-owner of TS Bar). They were now taken under the wings of Madvig and began hosting parties at TS Bar, Copenhagens finest club.
