Dr. Gigglez について

Dr. Gigglez
Beginnings: Dr. Gigglez, the enigmatic horrorcore hip-hop artist hailing from Rhode Island, first emerged onto the underground music scene in the year 2000. Known for his macabre themes, eerie beats, and unsettling lyrics, Dr. Gigglez quickly made a name for himself with his distinct and provocative style. His early work was characterized by a fascination with horror and the grotesque, setting him apart from his peers in the underground hip-hop community.
Rise to Prominence: In 2001, Dr. Gigglez released his debut album, The Doctors In, under the Rydas Records label. The album garnered attention and solidified his place within the horrorcore genre, showcasing his ability to blend chilling narratives with hard-hitting beats. His innovative approach earned him a dedicated fanbase and marked the beginning of a significant career in underground hip-hop.
Founding Trauma Squad Productions: By 2003, Dr. Gigglez had parted ways with Rydas Records to establish his own label, Trauma Squad Productions. This move allowed him greater creative freedom and control over his music. Over the next several years, he released a series of influential projects through his imprint, each one continuing to push the boundaries of horrorcore hip-hop. His output during this period was marked by a relentless exploration of dark themes and complex soundscapes.
The Hiatus and Return: In 2010, Dr. Gigglez released what was thought to be his final album, Mentally Unstable. Following this release, he disappeared from the music scene, leaving fans and critics alike in suspense about his whereabouts. The artist’s sudden absence created a void in the horrorcore community, with many speculating about the reasons behind his departure.
After a lengthy hiatus of 12 years, Dr. Gigglez made a dramatic return in 2022 with the album The Resuscitation. Collaborating with Canadian producer J Reno, Dr. Gigglez introduced a fresh sound and style that reinvigorated his career. The album’s success was a testament to his enduring talent and ability to evolve with the times.
Recent Achievements: At the end of 2022, Dr. Gigglez released the EP Welcome to 13th World, a tribute to his love of Halloween and haunted attractions. This release further cemented his comeback and demonstrated his ongoing dedication to thematic and creative expression.
In 2023, Dr. Gigglez signed with Leathal Wreckords, a label run by longtime associate Fury. This partnership led to the release of the EP Till Death Do Us Part, showcasing collaborations with notable artists such as Fury, Bizarre of D12, King Gordy, and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse.
Dr. Gigglez’s most recent album, Dead Inside, released in August 2023, is hailed as his best work to date. Featuring a diverse range of artists including Fury, LV, J Reno, Gibby Stites, Problemattik, and Ether, the album has been met with critical acclaim. Standout tracks like “Prime” and “Casket Monsters” have become fan favorites, highlighting Dr. Gigglez’s ability to blend haunting lyrics with innovative production.

We had to move venues due to the Brown University Shooting, AS220 was accommodating and held us until it was safe enough to leave to our cars! I hope to get back to AS220 as the staff was cool and the venue was cool, but we moved it to the Portuguese International CLUB in West Warwick and the show went off without a hitch and that venue was so awesome for helping us to be able to have a show at all! Terrible situation for our State but everybody came together in a terrible time! If you missed the show, you missed out on a wild time! It was a hell of a show and with a tragedy in place we came together as a community and still rocked out! Thank you tob oth venues, I am very Happy that everybody was SAFE and we all got to let loose!
