The Singularity

The Singularity is what happens when you plug a master Indian classical violinist into a Marshall Superlead, turn it up to 11 and let him f around.

And what did we find out? A high energy fusion band fronted by violin virtuoso Yadnesh Raikar and flamenco/metal guitarist Niki Mukhi. They are joined by the low end himself, Rami Lakkis, on bass, Colin “I eat polyrhythms for breakfast” James Gordon on drums, and together write music that build an impossible bridge between power metal and Indian classical music.

Their live performances are akin to watching Pantera playing at your mom’s dinner party, scaring the guests and making the neighbours’ kids rave on your lawn.
