Founded by four musicians with roots in Hamburg, the Netherlands, and Bali, Jay The Bird is more than a band – it’s an international project with heart and soul. Behind the drums is Daniel Rothe, the bass is handled by Oda Roerdink, while Timmy Hemsen and David Knaack rock the guitars, with David also on vocals.
Their debut single Phoenix, released on December 27, 2024, was a special collaboration with renowned Indonesian blues-rock guitarist Gugun Blues Shelter and left a lasting impression. But this is just the beginning: In January 2025, their EP It Might Get Loud will showcase how powerful and versatile their music is.
