EUGENE

Eugene (Eugenio Valente, b. November 7, 1975, Rome) is an artist and producer whose music blends electronic innovation, new wave influences, and indie-rock energy. Known for his bold creativity and captivating vocals, Eugene has earned praise as "one of the most interesting artists in the new electronic scene" (Repubblica.it) and "an inspired, energizing performer" (The Electricity Club UK).

As Eugene, he has performed extensively in the UK, Italy, and Germany, with standout shows at 229 Venue in London and the Popkomm festival in Berlin. His career highlights include four releases on the iconic Wall of Sound label—home to Röyksopp and Propellerheads—including the Apple Music alternative chart-topping single "Radiowave." His critically acclaimed album Seven Years in Space (2022) and collaborations with visual artists like Beeple and Gary Hill further underscore his artistic range.

His upcoming EP Sydereal (2025), a daring homage to Syd Barrett, combines ethereal sounds, pulsing grooves, and Eugene’s signature stylish edge. The release will be followed by an exciting new album featuring a collaboration with Butch Vig (Garbage).

In addition to his solo work, Eugene has played over 1,000 concerts as the singer and keyboardist in internationally acclaimed Queen, Pink Floyd and Duran Duran tribute projects. He has also collaborated with artists like Andy (Bluvertigo), Claudio Simonetti (Goblin), Gazebo and Garbo and contributed to film soundtracks such as Lavender Braid by Magdalena Hill. While pursuing his artistic career, Eugene also works as a producer for the hit TV show Amici di Maria De Filippi and serves as a Moog, Arturia, sE electronics and Teenage Engineering Ambassador artist.
