Blightbeast

Emerging from the chthonic depths of Baltimore's metal underground, BLIGHTBEAST unleashes their ferocious debut, VISCERA. This five-track monstrosity is a merciless exploration of the band's passion for all things metal that pushes the limits of years of finely honed musicianship and skill. Seamlessly fusing the ferocity of thrash, the glacial desolation of black metal, the unbridled savagery of metalcore, and the intricate experimentation of prog, VISCERA journeys through the prismatic world of metal genres to create a new and unique endeavor.

Smeltzer, Decampos, Merchant, and Rickman wield their instruments like tireless battering rams intent on breaking through the portcullis of your ears. Their aural army brings harmonized guitars that wail like tormented spirits, bass that pounds and rings like a blacksmith’s hammer, and a berserker whirlwind of drums delivering an inexorable technical barrage. Leading the charge are Doccolos' malevolent vocals, an abyssal fusion of gravelly snarls and guttural roars powered by pain and pleasure alike.
