Never heard of this lady but was quite impressed with her one person performance. Songs were quirky and catchy. A very nice surprise. Seemed like all the songs had a title related to fish. Different but good.

Saw Oxis open for Magdalena Bay and had not been exposed to the artist before. Perfect example of why you should show up for the opening act, so glad I did. The mashup of their original track, Long Sardine, and MGMT’s Kids that they did live honestly took my breath away. Been listening to her whole catalog since. Love the mix of electronic glitch, looping, acoustics, ethereal vocals. This is the type of music that makes you feel something, like your heartbeat and your breath are syncing to the music somehow.
