Described by triple j as a “queer supergroup”, FVNERAL is a the brainchild of trans non-binary songwriter/producer Tay Blunt - whose discography (Stand Atlantic, Birds of Tokyo, Mokita) has clocked more than 15 million streams - and brought to life with a cast of collaborators including alongside Madeleine Powers (RAGEFLOWER), Ben Siva (jnr.), Bec Sandridge and Asti Holz (Jack River, Annie Hamilton). In a short time, FVNERAL have received support from the likes of triple j, FBi Radio, Rolling Stone, MTV, Entertainment Tonight, Brooklyn Vegan, Ones To Watch and Atwood Magazine, and landed over 110 rotation adds on US college radio - where their two previous EPs hit #18 and #27 in the (NACC) charts.

In addition to selling out every headline show they’ve played, FVNERAL have toured relentlessly around Australia and New Zealand, supporting international heavyweights The Aces, Real Estate, Kevin Devine, Charlotte Sands, KiNG MALA, Grayscale and Teenage Wrist, as well as local heroes Ben Lee, Little Birdy, aleksiah, WAAX, Play Lunch ixaras, John Floreani and Bec Sandridge. Tay is dedicated to advocating for their trans and queer communities, and is a co-founder of TRANSGENRE - an initiative that celebrates trans and non-binary voices in Australian music. 2026 will see Tay take FVNERAL on their first tour of Asia, following the release of their new EP, which features collaborations with Ben Lee, Late November and Bukowski.
