AEGTESKAB

When AEGTESKAB received the Danish Music Award in 2024 for their debut album and again in 2025 as Live Act of the Year, the jury described the band and their music as:

“Simple and direct. Honest. An album that goes straight to the heart.”

“The winner of the Live Award is hard to pin down genre-wise and is known for being innovative, full of soul and personality. They have quickly built a large and devoted audience thanks to a format that feels fresh, exciting – and enduring. Three outstanding musicians with soul and character, strong interplay, and a sound that is entirely their own.”

AEGTESKAB exists in the space where genres meet and dissolve. Over the past years, we have experienced how our music brings together listeners from very different musical worlds – roots and blues audiences standing side by side with jazz listeners and rock fans, united by the same live experience.
