Hardcore beatdown outfit Shoot Da 5 originally emerged in the late stages of 2022, just as the world was beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally the brainchild of vocalist Shay, who started it as a trio following a series of serendipitous Craigslist connections, Shoot Da 5’s lineup has continued to evolve and expand overtime, each member leaving a distinct imprint on their ever-refining signature sound.

Self-dubbed as "Hardcore Con Sazon" – hardcore with a flavorful twist – Shoot Da 5’s sonic identity taps into the darkest recesses of the human experience, channeling the spirit of influences like Incendiary, Terror, Madball, and Marauder into a unique blend that’s as authentic as it gets. Equally as electric in the studio as on stage, the band’s hard-hitting yet polished approach has already earned them recognition from the scene, earning them features featured at Black Punk events and the BNB Bowl despite their relatively short time together.

Now, with plans to enter the studio before the end of the year and ambitions to play
major festivals like This Is Hardcore and FYA Fest, Shoot Da 5's upward trajectory
shows no signs of slowing down. As they continue to grind away at new material and
connect with their loyal and growing fanbase, one thing is certain: the future is looking bright for this rising hardcore powerhouse.
