Double Parked (NZ) について
Double Parked are a five piece band, coming from the bush and beach of West Auckland. They started off shaking the floors of big Westie house parties, but have ambition to get their music to land on as many fresh ears as possible.
The band describe their sound as frothy surf rock - as if elements of funk, punk, rock and reggae were shaken together and left in an empty beer bottle at the beach.
Double Parked’s already legendary live performances started out at raging house parties but have progressed steadily to bigger stages. Their debut gig was a sold out show at the Piha RSA - at which their fans nearly drank the bar dry. From there, They successfully opened for The Butlers, DICE and Lazy Ghost on their recent tours.
On top of that, they headlined their own tour across Aotearoa, closing with a 300 strong performance at Galatos.
