Black Viiolet is a phenomenal band lead by the immensely talented Nicole Laurenne. This night at Sea Monster was as good as it gets, with wonderful rhythm and horn sections, and of course the consummate pro Nicole reinventing the realities of just what the keyboards were meant for. The show was packed and everybody was dancing and a great nite of music was enjoyed by all. And as always, Nicole was extra-entertaining with her very down to earth amusing anti-diva chitter-chatter that really seemed to make the audience feel appreciated. But I would be remiss, if I didn’t also mention that the opening band Spice Box was also very good and fun and too had the folks dancing.
