During 2020, Sandman -- a rapper, singer, songwriter & producer -- emerged from the UK with a dynamic sound, a versatile set of skills & a passion for telling his story through his art.

He was introduced to music as a rock drummer, later finding inspiration from artists like The Weeknd & Post Malone. Coming from influences outside Hip-Hop & being a music student, Sandman is able to effortlessly interlock melodic hooks, with hypnotic rhythms, From darker rap hits like Crime to emotional heartfelt pieces like In the Wind (I Wish)

In 2022, Sandman released his debut album 'Aftermath' detailing a relationship turned sour, experimenting with sounds influenced by the darker side of R&B & Rap. He also took his first trip to Los Angeles & was surprised at the disparity between people, inspiring him to write the West-Coast inspired Lost Angels.

As a multi instrumentalist with an extensive background into rock music, Sandman is looking at the genre through a different lens: his drumming roots heavily influencing the powerful rhythms & melodies of his songs, that seamlessly blend together, designed to linger in your memory, long after you listened, with a meticulous detail to textures & creating an atmosphere to accompany his dynamic voice & lyrics.

Addressing his life openly through his music, the story continues with 2024 bringing the release of his next album & many more songs after that which blend his unique style & continuing the journey.
