SugarPunch! is a Heavy Alternative Punk band from The Netherlands. Inspired by bands such as The Distillers, Avril Lavigne and A Day To Remember, these gentlemen and lady are creating solid poprock with clear influences from metalcore.
Leadsinger Janneke knows how to keep the attention the entire set, in which she effortlessly channels between larynx-ripping aggression and earpleasing whispers. While rhythm guitarist Martijn, bass player Gerwin and drummer Rick provide their fundamental wall of sound, Janneke, along with lead guitarist Michael, make for an unforgettable live performance in which jumping, moshing and dancing is most definitely encouraged.
