Emanating from within the confines of their home-built Ugly Robot Studios, Fracture Type is the culmination of years spent weaving aggressive riffs, emotive vocals, meditative interludes, pondering bridges, humming melodies, and cathartic breakdowns into their own unique outfit of alternative rock. A single thumb is not enough to place upon FT. The eclectic group rises from the ashes of post-college western Mass projects, adding their unapologetically modular sound to the local scene - one that resonates with metal and indie fans alike. Baked into the band’s foundation are themes of mindfulness and connectedness, with lyrics enigmatically showcasing the struggles to understand, embrace, and overcome inevitable suffering. Made up of four perfectionists, Fracture Type has worked tirelessly to build the courage to let their imperfections shine through their music and performance.
