BB Bean

BB Bean is an eclectic 19-year-old alternative pop artist from North Texas with a gift for capturing an audience’s ears and hearts. Armed with a small bedroom studio and a passion for storytelling, Bean spends most of their days weaving their experiences, feelings, and narratives into a diverse, infectious tapestry of sound.

No stranger to music, Bean has been writing since they were 12 years old, teaching themself keyboard, guitar, and ukulele. Bean, who was diagnosed with Aspergers in middle school, saw music as a way to come out of their shell, joining a jazz band, backing their church choir, and performing at talent shows and open mics.

Pairing unique, colorful productions with a songwriting style that infuses heartfelt storytelling with catchy melodies, Bean has created a vast genre-hopping musical landscape, where everything from alt-rock to reggae fits in.

Bean has built a small but loyal fanbase off their small discography, gaining over 100,000 streams in less than a year after releasing their debut single, “The Neighbor (Demo)”, in October 2020. Their third track “Alone”, released in March 2021, appeared on EARMILK’s New Music Friday [College Edition] playlist and entered multiple Soundcloud charts, including their Global Pop Chart, during its debut week.
