Followed them from Phoenix for a second show. SOLD OUT! This band is LEGEND. So fortunate to have seen them in smaller, intimate venues! Such brilliant talent. All of them are PURE FIRE. Can’t wait to explore the expansion of the REALM

Great show! Although they didn't have much stage time as they were opening for High On Fire, they used their slot really well with incredible musicianship and amazing theatrics and costumes. I'm now a fan, and will be looking up for their next headline show in Europe!

Castle Rat is a lot of fun live. They deliver a whole show along with their own take on early Doom Metal. Daevar were a great opening act as well, like if Nirvana had a love child with a Doom Metal band. Club Volta as a venue is pretty good, though a bit of a trek from the train station (albeit not as far as Palladium nearby).

Phenomenal!! Earth shattering, sonic explosion!!! Once you enter the REALM there’s no turning back. You must help defend and return it to all its heavenly glory. Great show. You have to check this band out while they’re still playing clubs so you can behold the ultimate intimate experience. Soon they’ll be opening for bigger bands and selling out in larger venues.

Castle Rat has a sound..... a sound made of Doom and Metal, intricately wrapped Fantasy and Lore...... Every one of the band members bring their own vibe with masterful precision and technique with there musical weapons!!!!! ALL HAIL THE RAT QUEEN!!! and FOREVER TRUST IN CASTLE RAT to ALWAYS DEFEND OUR REALM!!!! (The venue was a lil hot but small and intimate. [Which is in my opinion the best way experience live music!] The heat and sweaty bodies just added to the atmosphere of Castle Rat a

The beer was cold, the opening bands rocked, and the crowd was all for it. Castle Rat was loud and put on quite the show. I wished it lasted longer! If they ever are performing in a city near you... GO!

Amazing show and great acoustics! Superbly grand energy from everyone, the band, the merch and venue staff and everyone that attended. Will be looking for more shows here and definitely helping the Rat Queen, the Count, the Druid, and the Plague Doctor protect the realm next time they're in town. \m/

They are talented musicians who play incredibly well together and their theatrics were on point. It was a fun production and the sound quality was surprisingly strong for how small the venue was. One of the most entertaining shows I've been to. Highly recommend seeing these guys if you get the chance.

Excellent act musically but the sound mixing at the venue had some issues. At times vocals were incredibly hard to hear while guitars were so loud they overpowered everything else. Still, had a great time watching Castle Rat perform, it was like a D&D session turned into a metal show. All hail the Rat Queen!

Theya opened for them, they were fine. Early Moods was the second act and they were a lot of fun, loved their energy! The big event though was incredible. I knew there was going to be a show but I was still blown away. Now is forever! In this realm!

It was quite a production! I am not a Metal fan, but I'm always down to see a show. Some friends of mine were going and I tagged along. From the first moments the lights came up we were transported to "The Realm" and got a taste of the magic and mythical creatures that live there. It was very fun! I appreciated the music, even though I couldn't really catch the lyrics much. and again, the costumes and production value was great!

I love their sound and their stage theatrics deserve a bigger stage! They played to a sold out crowd so I know their Relm will expand! I will feel fortunate that I had the chance to see them so up close!

Last night the halls of Reggie’s shook as Castle Rat strode forth, crowned in shadow and steel. The Rat Queen herself, iron-voiced and sword-handed, greeted her subjects with tidings both joyous and dire: the Bestiary, tome of terrible might, lay under threat from the accursed Rat Reapress—death incarnate with a skull of vermin and a scythe to match. With guitars screaming like battle horns, bass thundering like the march of giants, and drums striking like hammers of the gods, Castle Rat wove spells of strength and fury—Wolf I, Dagger Dragger, Cry For Me, Wizard—binding their people to the defense of The Realm. Time and again the Reapress slithered from the void, only to be driven back by the Queen’s blade and the crowd’s might. But evil is stubborn. With sorcery black as midnight, the Reapress froze the Queen in her tracks and drank her life away before our eyes. All seemed lost, until the Plague Doctor, robed in mystery, raised the host in thunderous chant, pouring forth a forbidden elixir of revival. The Rat Queen rose anew, her sword aflame with vengeance, and cast the Reapress screaming into the abyss. In the aftermath, Castle Rat led their victorious subjects in revelry unmatched in the chronicles of men—an o**y of triumph and sound, where darkness lay broken and the Realm endured.

Awesome performance from Castle Rat !! They have expanded their Realm with the new album and the set was full of new material and the familiar classics. New stage show performance has taken a great forward step with more theatrics and band interaction. Killer solos, great sound and as always they are fantastic to meet & greet after the show for photos and autographs ! NOW IS FOREVER !!

Castle Rat killed it! Riley's storytelling in-between songs was cool! The set made me feel like I was in the Dark Crystal When the crowd started chanting, IN THIS REALM" as a response to Riley's "NOW IS FOREVER" felt like a monarch addressing her troops before battle. I wish Castle Rat's set was longer!

There is absolutely nothing about Castle Rat that should work, and yet quite literally everything about them is perfect from top to bottom. The musicianship, the stage show, even their merch is top-notch. As long as the Rat Queen and her horde of misfits continue to traverse this realm, they'll have a fan in me.

Castle Rat put on a damn good show! Great energy, fun and exciting theatrics. Got the chance to interact with most of the band after their set and they were the sweetest. You can tell this is a project of passion for them; I would jump at the chance to see them again.

So glad I finally got to see Castle Rat live! The entire show with all the other bands was a bit disappointing - felt very disjointed with so many vastly different genres performing right after another. Weird, disorganized environment that was difficult to enjoy, would not recommend "Sunday Soul Scream" as an event.
