Maddisun
Maddisun: Larger Than Life, Loud and Limitless 𖤓
Born in the wilderness of Cranbrook, BC, Maddisun (Maddison Keiver) is a powerhouse of sound and spirit—a sunshine-soaked, mountain-made Canadian songbird, with soulful, soaring vocals.
A self-managed artist, she runs every aspect of her career with bold vision and business-savvy determination. With the confidence of a nine-year-old putting on a homemade play, she brings unfiltered emotion and magnetic energy to every stage, commanding the room like a ‘70s rock theatre icon.
Blending vintage country pop/rock with expressive and powerful vocals, Maddisun’s sound falls somewhere between Sheryl Crow, Stevie Nicks, Maggie Rogers, and Oasis—bold yet deeply personal, taking you on a journey through nomadic dreams. Never easy to box in.
“The music is powerful: themes of saying yes to yourself, empowering yourself, and refusing to say no. I think Maddisun takes her own advice. Her performance is driven with rhythm and energy.” - Roots Music Canada Her sophomore album, Home Is Where The Music Is, was a breakthrough, with lead single "Don't Say No" landing on H&M’s in-store playlist and spinning on CBC’s Afterdark. Now, she’s set to release her boldest work yet—The Pages, an album representing the chapters of her journey.
Maddisun has solidified her status as one of Canada’s rising songwriters and is poised for an even brighter future in 2025.

Maddisun doesn't just sing and play well. It isn't a performance. She shares her life and experiences. She shares her soul with her audience. If you haven't seen her, You Are Missing Out!
2026年6月20日·Cranbrook, BC
I played match maker with a couple back in 1969. They wound up getting married. After a while moved to Hawaii. Eventually moved back to Canada. My buddy called me this afternoon to inform me that his wife had passed away. I had been planning for some time to go to the Grist and Mash Brewery tonight to see Maddisun's show. Everything was so wonderful it completely took my mine off of the days event. Her rendition of House of the Rising Sun was incredible in true Maddisun style. The Animals are lucky that Maddisun wasn't around back in the 60s. What a wonderful performance. What a wonderful evening. Thanks for tanking my mind to places I never thought I would reach today. The staff, the beer, and the food were GREAT too. With todays prices I rarely tip in restaurants but the earned a good tip tonight as well. I will follow the brewery to see what other artists perform there. As you might be able to tell from this article, I really enjoyed the beer.

It was my first time at Centre 64. Beautiful building. A little confusing to find one's way to where the performance took place. The entire show was wonderful. Maddisun was definitely the high point and I wish we could have heard and seen more of her. So charismatic.
