OVERSTREET is an alt-pop-rock project born from the mind of its creative force, Chord Overstreet, in Los Angeles in early 2018. Taking inspiration from contemporary acts like Tame Impala and Foster the People, as well as classic artists like The Police, OVERSTREET combines a unique blend of storytelling songwriting with progressive production elements to create a sound that is both lyrically and sonically compelling.

The first single, Wasted Time, was released in April of 2018 to officially kick off
the project. Inspired by a psychedelic-infused desert getaway, the rustling, off-time
guitar riff gives way to a choir of whistles before the sunny, soulful, and chantable
cinematic refrain, “When we’re high-igh-igh, everything is better…When we die-ie-ie, we
can live forever…in…Wasted time.”

The project’s second single, Carried Away, is an upbeat, summer jam with with an infectious chorus that encourages living in the moment and enjoying those sunny So-Cal days. Produced by Jayson Dezuzio (Thunder- Imagine Dragons), has amassed over 1,700,000 streams on Spotify since it’s June 2018 release. It is currently featured on Spotify’s “It’s Alt Good” and “Soak Up the Sun” editorial playlists.

OVERSTREET’s debut EP, Man on the Moon, will be released over the summer of 2019 in the form of singles; with the lead single from the project, "All Nighter," coming out on April 12th. OVERSTREET is hitting the road In April of 2019 on a cross-country tour with The Score and Lostboycrow.
