His diverse heritage, boasting Mexican and Bolivian roots, and eclectic musical upbringing contribute to his commanding stage presence and interaction with crowd. After a career-advancing 2011, with appearances at SXSW and a six city Southern California tour alongside rock-reggae powerhouse Iration, Lexo released the single 'Another Day' ft. Iration. This reggae themed ballad about a typical day in Southern California received radio play in Los Angeles, Hawaii and Florida. In 2012, Lexo expanded his fan base while on a 12-city tour of Southern and Central California in support of Mickey Avalon, followed by headlining shows in Nevada and Mexico with his DJ, Romy Ancona. Definite highlights included playing the rooftop Ghost Bar at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and playing key venues on the Sunset Strip, like The Roxy, The Key Club and Whisky A Go Go, as well as selling out the Viper Room as part of the world renowned Sunset Strip Music Festival in Hollywood. Throughout his career, Lexo has performed alongside artists such as Mickey Avalon, Iration, Seven Lions, Gilbere Forte, Sex Panther, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, Elan, Cisco Adler, Casey Veggies, Dom Kennedy, Vokab Kompany to name a few. His latest EP titled “Keep It Dirty”, a Dubstep project produced by rising Electronic Dance Music star Seven Lions, is available on iTunes. The duo performed several shows and EP release parties throughout California, earning the respect of the Californian dubstep community. Lexo is currently writing and recording a new reggae themed album with Grammy Award winning producer Native Wayne Jobson. Native Wayne has produced for and worked with legendary artists such as Keith Richards, Jimmy Cliff, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, 311, Toots and the Maytals, Gregory Isaacs. His most successful project was No Doubt’s “Rock Steady” album, which earned him 2 Grammys and sold over 3 million records. Lexo and Native Wayne recorded in Jamaica at the famous Jack Ruby Studios (Burning Spear) with master engineer Barry O’Hare (Shaggy). Dancehall Queen Ce’Cile is a guest vocalist and Wayne Lothian from the legendary English Beat is co-producing tracks on the album. Poop
