Matthew Larsen is a quietly epic indie-folk singer-songwriter with old pianos, keyboards, and documents in Massachusetts, USA. Matthew’s wry, introspective songs are deep reflections on empathy, technology, media, relationships, grief, and mortality. He's released a number of records throughout the years: "Holding Pattern” (2016) and “Apheresis,” (2011) are full of multi-part harmonies, guitars, bass, bells, and thoughtful percussion. Matthew gets compared to the most sensitive sides of piano gods like Rufus Wainwright and Ben Folds with a flair for sweeping atmospheres of bands like Death Cab for Cutie and LOW.
