DZD brought everything, from Shane and Lachy spinning preshow tunes with world’s youngest DJ to power, energy and dance with a full-on set of songs from the new album starting with the title track and effortlessly punching out crowd favourites from a packed catalogue like Gina Works at Hearts and Like People. When Shane dropped himself, his guitar and his mic onto the floor for the end of the encore, if you hadn’t been won then you weren’t alive. And Lachlan with his literal in your face guitar shredding bounced between songs having almost a symbiotic connection to Simon pounding the kit to inch of oblivion. And what about the support! I was promised great things from people who knew and Dartz delivered a truckload of excess expectations! Both Lahgo and Cammy Cautious had the crowd dancing keeping the night’s vibe up high. Overall, Crowbar brought the energy level up so high I was buzzing for most of the next day!

Amazing! I could feel my hair growing the more the gig went on. Which was fortunate coz I'd had an unsatisfactory haircut earlier in the day. Thank you DZ Deathrays, is there anything you can't do?!

It was b****y amazing! I’m a long time fan of DZ, I went to the gurge gig with some old friends from high school and they’d never heard of you before but you have some new fans! Luke Henery was a nice edition 😀
