Nolan Hubbard

Nolan Hubbard is a genre-blurring singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Ottawa ON, Canada in 1996. Often compared to Prince for his rare versatility, he blends indie pop with shades of blues, soul, jazz, reggae, country and folk– creating a sound that’s both familiar and modern. A guitar virtuoso since age 11, Nolan channels the spirit of Hendrix, Mayer and Knopfler with expressive playing and earnestly profound lyrics. His voice carries both vulnerability and power, delivering hook-filled melodies that linger long after the song ends.


With over 11M+ streams as a songwriter, Nolan has built his career from the ground up by balancing gigging full time, songwriting, collaboration & self-taught production. His DIY aesthetic doesn't shy away from complexity, and his live performances–solo or with band–are lush with improvisation and dynamic moments. In 2025, he joined the Ottawa Bluesfest lineup alongside Tim Baker & more & is now crafting his anticipated sophomore LP.
