The Get Backs について
Funk/Soul group The Get Backs formed to share authentic, old-school energy, and 60’s inspired sounds. The band’s core collaborators consist of r&b and soul veterans, alongside a youthful rhythm section of “sidemen to the stars” of soul and roots music. Internationally known vocalist UB Bigg (aka Brian Templeton), is out front, alongside Guitarist Matthew Stubbs (Charlie Musselwhite, Janiva Magness), bassist Marc Hickox (Eddie Floyd) and drummer Chris Rivelli (Duke Robillard, Roomful of Blues). The all-star horn section has included saxophonists Sax Gordon (Solomon Burke, Kim Wilson), Scott Shetler (Mighty Sam McClain, Johnny Adams), and trumpet star Johnny “Bluehorn” Moriconi. Every performance provides both high-energy and low-down soul. The Get Backs celebrate the release of their Underground EP Volume I in February 2012. Band. U.B.
