The Sea Monks

“Arguably one of the hardest working bands to come out of San Diego, this family outfit, dripping with blood chemistry, delivers a real deal blend of Rock ’n’ Roll & Rockabilly Country.” - R.J. Bloke, Bigtop Bandstand, LA

In 2024 alone, The Sea Monks played 88 shows across 7 states, and their high-energy performances have garnered them airplay on 91X FM and KPBS Midday Edition.

The Sea Monks have released three albums, including the SDMA-nominated Lost Again (2021) and Gasoline (2018). Their newest album, New Dreams, is a collaboration with San Diego's Johnny Sapphire. Recorded at Pacific Beat Recording with acclaimed engineer Alan Sanderson (The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Michael Jackson, B.B. King) and featuring the vocals of Josie Lavalle, New Dreams showcases their evolving sound.
