Down The Void is a Heavy Rock band form Vaughan, ON heavily influenced by Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Motorhead. The boys got together in October of 2015 and have been rocking ever since. With the release of their single "Lost My Mind" and the self-titled EP that followed, Down The Void has been a growing force in the Toronto rock scene and has been featured in the Poison Tree Records Compilation album "This Is Rock”.
They released their debut album “The Midnight Sun” on March of 2018. Down The Void puts on a high intensity show that goes with their hard hitting sound and leaves the crowd in high spirits and wanting more. Down The Void started out as nothing simpler than an idea. When drummer Niko “Groovy T” Talovic met singer/guitarist Lou Sky at an audition for another band they quickly became friends and started discussing ideas for a new band. They were both fans of the old school heavy metal bands as well as the grunge bands of the 90s. After a year of trying to find their sound Lou had introduced Groovy T to his long time friend Nick Wolf. Nick was a guitar player with Lou in their previous band, but seeing how they needed a bassist Nick stepped up and took on the mantle of bass player.
The three started rocking out playing any show they could get; practicing everyday and writing songs like it was nobody's business. With their signature vests the boys hope to take the rock scene by storm in 2019. Down The Void Forever! \m/
