David Tixier

David Tixier is a French jazz pianist, born in 1989.
Laureate of the national prizes Jazz à Vienne and Jazz à La Défense with the Obradovic-Tixier Duo, and, as a solo pianist, of the Monaco Jazz Soloist Prize and the JazzHaus Freiburg International Piano Prize, and semi-finalist at the Montreux Parmigiani International Piano Competition, David Tixier launched his discography in 2016 with his first solo album, "The Giant Corners." He performs primarily in Europe, in over thirty countries.
Tixier now has some ten albums to his credit, in solo, duo and trio recordings.
Often critically acclaimed (MUST TSF, 4 stars and Jazz Revelation
Magazine, Coup de Coeur LeMonde.fr…), his latest trio album, “Because I
Care,” has been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify.
